「I can’t fault our stay at Riverbend Gardens. It began with a warm welcome from our hosts Wendy, Mark and their adorable menagerie, along with a cuppa and chocolate cake. The unit was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our last day started with a yummy breakfast and more bottle feeding of the lambs and we were farewelled with beautiful rose bouquets. We will definitely be back!」

「In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!」

「Clean and comfortable house, well presented. Great location. My dogs appreciated the dog friendly home and the big backyard. A little better heating would be great, the air conditioner heats the lounge well, but that’s the only room with heating.」
