Apartment had plenty of space and was in good condition, although only half the bed linen was supplied. Great location for skiing with ski storage right next to post just above Tours lift. "

Once you get your head around which door to come in and which lift to use it's all quite convenient. The flat itself is small (though described accurately on the website) but needs modernising. "This 'cosy' 4 bed is in a great location, and is perfectly comfortable and well furnished. Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. It is also not clear that there is no bedding included, which would cost the 3 of us €80. "We had a great week in douchka with a family of 5 (boys aged 14,11 and 7). The location is great, next to the welcome station and easy for our ski school. Lovely view. I had good communication with Marc about check in. Ski in ski out, and a ski locker next to the apartment. The listing gives an accurate impression of the apartment. We had an amazing time."

"Pierre is a great host and super helpful. Apartment is very close to ski runs (pretty much ski in ski out) and very close to Avoriaz Centre - restaurants, ski hire, supermarket, swimming pool. My family was 2 adults and 4 kids 8 - 15 and the apartment was comfortable for a week skiing!"

"Excellent hotel for skiing at this lovely resort. Food and drink options were great and staff were very positive and helpful. Slight niggles such as constantly running out of basics at meal times (plates/bowls/tea bags/hot water) which was a bit annoying when you rushing to get to lessons. Great location though and very good value for money-would definitely return to this hotel and resort"

Good location. Poor management.
"This is our third year at the property. This year the management company was different. The check in was a pain as we were given a number but that number is not in use during check in day and instead a voice recording and new number in french. The chalet was not as clean as in previous year. Floors not clean under sofa. Bathroom floor not clean. We have always had towels before. With change in management this was a change and no towels. Website had been updated to say no towels but they had not flagged to us which would have been good. There was a new fridge which did not have freezer compartment. Again it would have been useful to know. Very slow communication with management company. They could never communicate amongst themselves. They constantly had our check in date wrong. They asked for a meeting on check out day we explained we would be leaving early and we agreed to post let through letterbox. Next day another person rang to ask all the same questions. The bath leaked and very slow communication between management company and owner. By the time plumber could attend it was nearly the end of our stay. It was a 5 week stay with no bath. We especially chose the place as had a bath so easier for the children. For all these reasons it now does not meet our needs so we will not return next year."
