It starts with Charles, the owner, who made the reservation process extremely easy. He was very responsive and very accommodating, which I appreciate tremendously. Check-in was easy and the Sheraton staff where all friendly and also accommodating. The condo itself was exactly as advertised and the shuttle to Beaver Creek is 20 or 30 yards away. Parking was plentiful and easy. The ski lockers are a bit small but for this condo you can get two so we were able to store everything (they ask that you not store ski equipment in the rooms). The kids in the group loved the game room. I liked the indoor hot tub but there are also two outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool. Easy (even in the cold and snow) 4 or 5 minute walk to Walgreens, liquor store, a few restaurants, and the public park with ice skating and sledding/tubing hill for younger kids. Longer (but not bad walk) to places like Vin48 and more restaurants. The only things I would change would be to upgrade the pots and pans in the kitchen and the elevators. The elevators were slow and the cleaning staff seemed to fill them with carts at peak times which was a minor annoyance. However, neither of these issues would deter me from booking this again. During peak times (New Year's, Christmas, Spring Break), the shuttle is absolutely packed. It was tough managing young kids and equipment on the shuttle but the difference in cost between this and the village means you can easily store equipment on the mountain and come out well ahead (even if you pay for the White Carpet service). City Market (the main grocery store) is always packed and a pain but for this trip we used the Walmart curbside pick up (and bought a $12 frying pan which made life much easier) and it was worth the 2 minute longer drive to get there. Probably saved us 20 minutes of waiting in line at City Market. All in all, a wonderful experience that, with a little planning, will be even better next time.
