"Beautiful old chateau. Very comfy beds. No one around when we arrived. Had to wander the grounds looking for someone to check us in. We were offered a soft drink when the lady finally arrived. Never met the owners during our two days stay. We presumed they must be on holiday. Previous reviews were not the same as our experience. "

"The guys working the front desk were very helpful, kind, and polite to a couple of frazzled and exhausted Americans who got there very late at night. Good breakfast, very clean and efficient room. "

"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). It is basically a private house offering rooms and a basic breakfast- not a hotel… it’s very much like taking an Air BnB room. The owner is a character but speaks virtually no...

"Well located and secure parking. Although pets are allowed it is an additional €11 per night. No decaf tea or coffee which was a shame but coffee machine on the bedroom. Will book again and very reasonable."
