"My friend and I have spent a beautiful and relaxing week in Chantal’s gite. The house is in between some fields, but still very close to Avignon's city center. The place was clean, well organized and well-equipped. And there was plenty of space! Chantal is also a very committed host. She was always available and helped us whenever we needed suggestions. Highly recommended!"

"We had a delightful visit to Avignon, using all three apartments offered by this host. The apartments were spread across four floors and provided plenty of room for my family to spread out. As the listing states, it is eclectically decorated with lots of odds and ends all over. We could never locate the laundry machine, but there was a great laundromat nearby. "The owners were lovely but this place was difficult to find (Google maps was as confused as we were), literally difficult to get to (1 lane roads and turns too sharp for our rent car), and there was a language barrier with our owners since our French is not very good and they did not speak English. The apartment does not have a washing machine, as we had thought, and no air conditioning in very hot July made for tough sleeping. It also did not come with enough soap or toilet paper. "Very comfortable home for a family in a lovely and quiet neighbourhood. Very accommodating hosts; due to Eurotunnel delays we arrived much later than planned and they made sure we were greeted without any delays. We highly recommend this property."

"The apartment was exactly as described, only better! We were 5 adults - two couples and one single - and the place has good shared space as well as enough differentiation to afford privacy. It is on three levels and, unless you have issues with stairs, worked well. Our host communicated well with us and had helpful suggestions; we would stay here again in a second."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Moulin de Tartay. It is a wonderful old mill located on a rural property but near the motorway so it's easy to access the main tourist sights in the area. The swimming pool was an absolutely wonderful way to end a day of sightseeing and the water was sparkling clean. "We had the best time in this beautiful home. It's right in the center of town so you can walk to everything. The kitchen is gorgeous and the pool is very refreshing. There's plenty of room and the decoration makes you feel as if you're staying in a fancy museum. Jean Francois was extremely kind and made us feel right at home.
