A great stay.

Everything was perfect. In the early morning, two squirrels wished us a good day. And the region is rich in beautiful surprises, even if only within a circle of around twenty kilometers. A great stay.

A most enjoyable stay with very friendly and helpful hosts - an ideal place to explore the Loire Valley and its offerings. We would have stayed a day or two longer is romms were available.2 x NZ guests

Wonderful and highly recommended

A wonderful tranquil location in a rustic house. Great breakfast and very attentive and helpful hosts who were only too happy to help make our stay highly enjoyable. The town is exquisite and the surrounding countryside perfect for walking and sightseeing. Highly recommend B&B to spend some quality time at.

Ein Erker in Avallon

An der Stadtmauer des Burgstädtchens Avallon mit Blick auf die Ausläufer der Hügelketten des Morvans. Die beiden Etagenwohnungen im Nebengebäude des Anwesens haben Charakter, verwinkelt und eigensinnig, etwas trödelig und muffig, aber wohnlich und gemütlich mit einer Mischung aus stimmigem Brocante und kinderfreundlichem Lebensraum. Beeindruckende Bibliothek französischer Literatur. Funktionierende technische Einrichtungen, passwortfreies WLAN, gemeinsamer Kühlschrank, aber auch ein wunderbarer Garten mit Wiese, Spielplatz und Pool zum Schwimmen. Äusserst freundliche und kultivierte Menschen, denen wir sehr dankbar sind, für die kurze, erhellende Begegnung in diesem Leben.

Très agréable logement idéalement placé

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce grand et beau logement idéalement placé à Avallon. La prestation proposée est au top, incluant un excellent petit déjeuner, un très agréable jardin avec piscine (en saison), une vue splendide sur les terrasses et la vallée, et un accueil particulièrement chaleureux par de charmants hôtes. C'est un point de départ idéal pour découvrir la ville (vous êtes au coeur de la partie historique) le Morvan et pour randonner sur les massifs et vallées environnants sans nécessairement avoir de voiture. Nous reviendrons avec un très grand plaisir et n'hésiterons pas à recommender cette noble maison à nos amis et connaissances.

Délicieux séjour dans le beau logement de Chantal et Hubert, qui sont des hôtes très accueillants et sympathiques. Logement idéalement situé sur Avallon avec une jolie vue sur la vallée du Cousin, et un petit déjeuner très bon aussi!

Aus familiären Gründen konnten wir kurzfristig nicht anreisen. Zum Appartement können wir daher nichts sagen. Wir geben trotzdem eine 5-Sterne-Beurteilung ab. Die telefonische Abstimmung mit Chantal war reizend, nett und entgegenkommend. Wir danken dafür. Wir werden die Zeit nutzen und bald wieder in den von uns bevorzugten Ort Avallon reisen und dann zu Chantal und Hubert kommen. Pour des raisons familiales, nous n'avons pas pu arriver à temps. C'est pourquoi nous ne pouvons rien dire de l'appartement. Néanmoins, nous donnons une note de 5 étoiles. La consultation téléphonique avec Chantal a été charmante, agréable et accommodante. Nous vous en remercions. Nous utiliserons le temps et nous nous rendrons bientôt à nouveau à notre endroit préféré, Avallon, pour ensuite rejoindre Chantal et Hubert. Monika und Walter

9 days in Avallon

Very nice spot in the historic town of Avallon. Free parking around the corner. The pictures on HomeAway don't do the room justice, it's much nicer in real life! Beautiful, calm garden with a nice swimming pool and great views. Friendly hosts, very nice breakfast every day on our own chosen time. It's only small things that aren't great. The WiFi connection in our room wasn't that good, and if you're tall (185cm+) the bed probably will be too short. Other than that? Nothing much!

Andere Länder, andere Sitten ^^

Wir waren eine Woche da, vom 30,08. - 06.09.19 Gebucht hatten wir eine Ferienwohnung, bekommen ein bed and breakfast. Selbst schuld, kann man sagen. Von Küche oder auch nur Kochnische stand da nix. Aber eben Ferienwohnung :D Frühstück selbst aber war absolut in Ordnung. Und kam zur Wunschzeit. Zimmer war o.k., Einrichtung was abgenutzt. Nix für Hausstauballergiker. Das Bad dafür sehr geräumig. Vor allem die Dusche. Die Lage allerdings war sensationell. Direkt neben der Kirche. Nebendran auch das einzig erwähnenswerte Restaurant der Stadt. Hätten wir da bloß mal jeden Tag gegessen. Nachts absolut ruhig. Hätte es neben dem sehr geräumigen Kühlschrank noch 2 Kochplatten und eine Spüle gegeben wären glatt 4 Sterne bei rausgesprungen :D

Fijne plek op een prachtige locatie

Mooie B&B met een vriendelijke eigenaar. Winkeltjes, galeries, restaurants en cafe’s op loopafstand. Extra lux is het zwembad. Hebben hier een paar dagen lekker genoten.

Emplacement remarquable et accueil chaleureux

La propriété est absolument charmante, au cœur du quartier historique d'Avallon, dans un environnement calme et serein, tout en étant à deux pas du centre commercial. La vue est splendide, la chambre très agréable vous faisant remonter le temps au 16ème siècle tout en ayant les commodités modernes. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux. Un endroit que je conseille vivement.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le séjour que nous avons passé chez Chantal. Son gîte est très agréable, nous avons profité de la piscine et apprécié la vue qui est vraiment très agréable. Charming and Delightful Experience

The property overlooks a luscious forrest, the house is full of charm, history and literature (if you love being surrounded by books, then this is it) The owner, Chantal, is kind, discreet and caring. Cette maison est parfaite pour un séjour à Avallon : elle est au cœur du centre historique d'Avallon (Eglise et tour de l'horloge à moins de 2mn à pied) et à 3mn à pied de la rue pavée commerçante, tout en proposant un calme, un charme, un jardin et une vue dignes d'une maison de campagne.
