Such a fun getaway! The pools were perfect. The bike trails make you feel like you're a kid again. Movie night and s'mores were such fun. And Sushi by Scratch was amazing! Everything they offer is quality, and each time we've visited has been a wonderful experience. Never a bad time.
This is a great family-friendly resort. The staff is so helpful, kind and considerate. We only had one bad experience at one restaurant, Mavericks. Everything else was A+
Such a fun experience for families with young kids. They had endless activities, crafts, and organized games for the children all day long. Easiest trip for parents. Not to mention and incredibly lazy river and pool.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great for kids and families with lots of areas to explore and activities. We used the pool, lazy river, road bikes, walked the trails along the river, star gazing with telescopes they sent up one night, family movie on the lawn, and made smores at the fire pit.
The staff was friendly, everyone from valet, bell hop, check-in and restaurant service.
The only challenge was getting dinner reservations with a large group as the resort was very busy the weekend we went (we got reservations weeks before we arrived). Fortunately, we were able to eat at the steakhouse, which was very good. We had the ribeye and tomahawk steaks and they were prepared perfectly. We also had the breakfast buffet and breakfast from the coffee and ice cream shop, both were very good. Very pleased with all the food on site.
This was a perfect weekend getaway and the kids loved it too. Next time we'll try some fishing at the pond and the golf course.

Room was very clean. All of the staff were excellent. Restaurants were very good
This is a fantastic family atmosphere, great food, lots to do! I love how they have little activities around the property and the long horns and the lamas! The pool is a must! The rooms are spacious and beds are super comfortable. The one thing I think would elevate the property even more is if they partner with Texas Folk musicians and had more of a chill Texas vibe near the pool with a light Nora Jones vibe. The music was a little loud and a little 80/s for my taste and I found it a distraction from the beautiful pool layout and vibe that they are trying to set! Also in the am, near lobby, do not need loud music. Nice country strum low and slow matches the esthetic and vibe that I think the hotel is trying to accomplish! Love, love, love, highly recommend!
Beautiful property with excellent staff and service! We have been coming here for years and will be back next year! Great food on property and plenty to do!
The resort is well maintained and the staff are friendly and attentive! Our family had a great time in the pool area and loved the evening s'mores! The food was a little pricey, but tasted great with large portions. We had issues with the room TV not working and the shower leaking onto the bathroom floor. A manager offered to move our room and refunded some meals for our inconvenience.
We arrived on Friday early evening. We were dropped off. We weren’t greeted by any staff on our arrival. We waiting to get assistance but ended up grabbing our own cart for our luggage. We checked in and let the front desk know and they did give us $50 credit. The room was nice and comfy. We didn’t do any of the paid amenities. But we did do the bike ride, which was nice and short. We visited the animals. It is August and hot and it hasn’t rained. A lot of the grass was dry. We loved the lazy river. It was nice and relaxing. My favorite part was the butterfly garden. We didn’t grab coffee it was ok not my favorite but did the job. We did eat at Mavericks and had the chicken sandwich, wings and fries. The wings were tasty but the sandwich didn’t taste good or the sweet potato fries. This is my besties and I second staycation around Austin. We hope to find another great hotel next!
