Whale watching tours leave from here as well as the AK ferry. Lovely drive to end of road and back.

My first stop was the shrine of St. Therese, advised by a local. I’m not a religious man but this felt like the most peaceful place on Earth. Great spot to take in the beauty of Alaska.

If you're in Juneau Alaska, I'm sure you will visit Mendenhall Glacier National Park. This is a pic of Nuggett Falls from a distance with all the visitors in the front to give a perspective of the power and size of the Falls. Be prepared for crowds if you're there in the summer.
