We booked 2 nights (July 4th and July 5th) at Maximilian’s 5 star hotel in Augsburg, Germany through Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel on July 4th at 4PM we were offered the room 404 at the top floor. Upon entering the room we discovered that AC wasn’t working and the temperature in the room was close to 90F. We immediately notified the front desk and was assured that the issue will be resolved shortly, but when technician looked at AC unit we were told that nothing can be done, and hotel can’t offer room because Maximillian’s was overbooked. I was asking, crying, told them I have heart's conditions. Nobody cares... We immediately notified the front desk that we are cancelling the 2nd night because it was impossible to stay. The "best part" - when we checked out on July 5th, hotel charged us for 2 nights
