"I stayed at this hotel during the May heatwave, when temperatures exceeded 32°C. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room did not work throughout our stay.. I reported the issue shortly after arrival on 28th May, I was told to press the button until the light turned green, indicating the system was operating. When this failed to cool the room, a staff member attended and confirmed the air conditioning was not working. We were given a fan and advised that maintenance would investigate the next day. On Friday 29 May, an engineer visited and again explained that the green light meant the system was on. We explained that it was not producing cool air. He said there had been a problem the previous day but that it had been resolved. However, when we returned that evening, the room was still very hot and the air conditioning was not working. On Saturday 30 May, I reported the fault again. One receptionist told me there was an issue affecting the hotel and that the air conditioning would operate for only a couple of hours before shutting down. That evening, another receptionist appeared surprised the problem was unresolved and denied there was a wider issue. When I said I would have requested another room had I known the problem would continue, I was told none were available. Despite repeated reports over three days, the fault was never fixed. The lack of a resolution, conflicting information and extreme heat made for a very uncomfortable stay. I do not recommend this hotel"

"Great location, only a few minutes' walk to the Palace. However, for the caliber, and price, this hotel was a major disappointment. The A/C is either not working (most public areas, elevators and fitness center), or not useful in the bedrooms, since the units are installed only in the entry to the sleeping rooms, no airflow in the bedroom. Staff, both front desk and housekeeping, are barely there and answered their phones only about 20% of the time we tried to ring. Maintenance of the property has been neglected and the aging shows - broken light fixtures, shower heads, worn/dirty carpets etc. If not for the location, I would rate this hotel even lower and tell others to avoid entirely!"

"Finally, a comfortable bed! After several nights of travel, it was a welcome relief to get a good night's sleep. The location was excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and bike rentals conveniently available right on the property. One of the highlights of our stay was renting bikes and exploring the beautiful grounds of Versailles. Riding through the gardens, tree-lined paths, and around the estate was both relaxing and enjoyable. We even biked all the way to the gates, which made the experience feel much more immersive than simply walking. The property was well-maintained, peaceful, and offered a great balance of convenience and comfort. Being able to explore the area so easily without relying on transportation was a huge plus. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend taking advantage of the bike rentals to experience Versailles from a different perspective."

"shower was tiny corner triangle barely any room . Booked for 3 adults. No cleaning over the 3 days we stayed. Only hand towel sizes provided. Room was cleaned well on check in and the staff were all very nice . We enjoyed our stay as most of the day we were out. Very comfortable beds ."

OKKO Hotels Paris Porte de Versailles

"The air conditioning was broken during our stay in OKKO. There was no technician to fix & our room was hot, uncomfortable to sleep. The manager promised that it'll be fixed the next day and it wasn't. The guests had a meeting with the manager , Gullame Bazenet, complaining about the AC not working & offered to solution at that moment. There were fans offered but not enough for all the guests. The hotel was nice & location was good. MY family & i were there for a wedding. Not having the AC made our stay at OKKO not so good. I hope that the AC is fixed by now. FYI, we traveled all the way from USA."

"I came for the French Open in May. My shower had no cold water --ouch! The door knob fell off. But the staff quickly changed my room. By the way I was upgraded to a king size bed. The hotel is close to Metro and a very nice Brassierie. I would stay here again. 1 thing; the staff seems very unhappy, curt, rare smiles---except for the lady in the breakfast room. I think that most Parisiennes dont like tourists anyway. :) You get used to the rudeness when you're in the city. Can't wait to get back to friendly ppl in Toronto!! Not taking Canadian kindness for granted"
