The modern two-storey “Wairau Stone” home is nestled on over 3 acres of lush pasture land, facing East over the protected private beach and the pristine Manukau Harbour. With ample space to accommodate up to 16 guests comfortably, this home is perfect for families, couples, or even corporate retreats.

While we uphold a strict 'No Party Policy' to ensure respect for our property and neighbors, we encourage our guests to relax and enjoy their time here. Please note that any disruptive gatherings will result in immediate cancellation of your booking.

Perfect spot for family getaway

We had the most wonderful time at Awhitu. The beach down the path was so perfect for all of the kids to explore, the house has so much space for everyone to spread out and so well set up for families.

Great out of city escape

This is a beautiful place to stay about and hour and a half out of Auckland. Beds are comfortable, great size rooms, huge kitchen.

Birthday Retreat

We had such a great time in Awhitu, the house is great for large groups with uts extensive balcony & lounge areas. So close to your own private beach which is great for an early morning walk around to the boat ramp. Highly recommend staying here, host & mamager very easy to deal with too!

There's something about this place that keeps attracting me back to it. This was my 4th visit with a different group of friends that hadn't been here. They were totally impressed and had nothing but glowing comments about the cleanliness, room arrangement and all the linen, cutlery, glassware, etc that was provided.

Has everything you need

Just a short stay for a few nights. What’s great is not having to pack anything except clothes and food! The house has everything you need. So handy having your own access to beach - we spent hours down there.

Beautiful place to escape to

Great house for a big group of people. The 11 kids running around had heaps of space inside and outside. Greta to have easy access to beach and a nice walk down to local park. Well equipped kitchen, comfy big beds, beautiful views, loved the dead end balcony which was safe for kids to run around on, would definitely come back!!

Amazing Trip

My extended family of 17 had the most amazing stay. Great communication from the outset. the property is perfect for large groups and is super well catered for. The kids loved the short walk down the track to the safe, private beach. Awesome area as well and lots to explore! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect for a family and friends group of 16. The teens loved the sandy beach. House really well stoked with everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and private. We will definitely be back again.

Such a special spot

We were attending a wedding at Connemara Country Lodge in Pollock and this was approx 15mins from the venue and wow what a spot!!! Under the stars you, watching the planes take off and you can admire the lights of Auckland is really magical! We loved our time here! Thank you so much for having us!!

Easter at Grahams Beach

Great location, very good lounge area and deck space. Bedroom information a bit confusing. It does sleep 16 but if all adults, and not all related, the configuration has to be carefully considered, so not quite enough space for that number.

Home away from home

Kim, your house is like home away from home. We have been coming to the house since the last 15 odd years and each time we add on more to our bundle of beautiful memories. This house is like a goto staycation where we like to come with friends and enjoy a relaxing holiday. It was lovely to see the changes you have made. Great Place for a family break

There was 11 of us stayed and there was absolutely nothing we ever wanted not available, the house is just well supplied with everything and good quality items. The water supply was adequate for us and taste was okay. Only thing I recommend to the owner would be to update the BBQ. Apart from that very happy to recommend the property to anyone wanting a modern large dwelling to lay back and enjoy a quite relaxing time.

Beautiful but .......

Our whanau loved the pla e and would stay again but ....... we arrived late and tired and mistly went to bed as we all had a birthday in Waiuku the next day. When we awoke we had bugs in our hair, beds etc snd wgen eating breakfast bugs , ants were falling into our food which looked like it was from the ceiling. When we let the agent know all she did was insinuate our family was lieing and when we asked for some sort of recompense she accused me of practically blackmailing her. The owner was much better to deal with, but we have still have to talk with her about the situation but haven't yet because of my family situation at the moment.

We had a fantastic stay at Grahams Beach to celebrate my husband’s 60th with family and friends - ages 7 to 60! The house was perfect for the large gathering, with plenty of kitchen and dining equipment, different spaces for people to hang out, and a fantastic location to explore! Beautiful views from the deck and living areas. Very good communications with host and property manager with prompt responses to our questions. We’d love to come back!

Lovely getaway

Had several very pleasant days here and likely to come back again. House large clean comfortable and very well stocked. The littlies just loved the beach. Just a pity the beach access was a bit tricky, not viable for one person with a dodgy back

The perfect family getaway.

I treated my children and the grandchildren a weekend away at this special place- a group of 8. The excitement of choosing which bedroom to have and who got the bunks was a highlight. There was just so much room for us all to relax or get together to play games together. The views over the Manukau was spectacular and we spent a lot of time on the deck just watching the sunrise, boats and planes. We loved the little walkway down to the private beach-a little steep for the oldies, but we made it! The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and plates etc you could need and the beds were comfortable and cosy. We did not want to leave and we will definitely go back again for a family holiday. Thank you to Kim for letting us use your special place.

Family time to celebrate our mums 70th bday

The property was perfect. Clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The photos dont do justice, the views were beautiful from the balcony. Would definitely recommend!
