I stayed at Woodstock Suites and Inn for one night, and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. From the moment we arrived, the staff's attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. They were not courteous, and their appearance did not reflect the standards you would expect from a hospitality business. The room itself was unacceptable. There was a strong unpleasant odor as soon as we entered. Even worse, we found cockroaches in the room, which immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. The bathroom was also in poor condition. The toilet and sink had clearly not been cleaned properly before our arrival, making us question whether the room had been sanitized at all. Although the condition of the room was completely unacceptable, we did not ask to change rooms because it was very late at night. We also believed that if this room was in such poor condition, the other rooms were likely to be similar. Instead, we stayed for the night and left extremely disappointed. Cleanliness and customer service are the minimum expectations for any hotel, and unfortunately this property failed on both. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Woodstock Suites and Inn to anyone. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously, improve its cleaning standards, and provide proper customer service training to its staff.

I chose this property for proximity and price. The door to the room didn't close well. The TV didn't work, (beware when you see two remotes for one TV). The room lighting were 5 or 6 very bright ceiling pot lights. There was a lamp, but it didn't work. So it was ALL or nothing when it came to room light. The train tracks are very close by. There was a stack of old and sad used mattresses at the back of the building. (No one needs to see that.) HOWEVER, the price was right and it was almost all that I needed. Thanks Motel.
