"Yikes!! This was not the Marriott Marquis experience I expected. The room looked nice on the surface, but housekeeping only came to my room twice in 5 days. The "clean" towels were musty and smelled like mildew. The staff at the front desk were a bit rude. The room service comes in cardboard boxes in a paper bag. I was there for Memorial Day weekend and the pool bar never opened. The pool area had trash and food around and the rugs in the cabanas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The pool itself was nice, but again the towels smelled like mildew. The location was convenient and the in room tv was great....everything else could use some special attention."
