Lovely home

The stay was amazing, the area was beautiful and easy access to metro. The only problem was when using the hot water it can be scolding and so can the pipes. I burnt my self nearly twice, so be careful.

We chose this property for ease and accessibility of parking and proximity to downtown Athens. From that point of view, the property met our expectations. The metro is a short walk from the property, allowing us to easily access many attractions by public transit. The area of the property felt safe and family friendly, which was important to us as a family with a young child. There is a dog park and children's park nearby, as well as bakeries and bars. In terms of the property itself, it was small(ish) despite its description as "deluxe". The bathroom is tiny. There is no space to place any products on the sink or in the shower. Be prepared to feel a little crammed, especially if you have 2 pieces of luggage with you. The AC worked well. Although the description mentions breakfast being available, we were never offered this, nor did we ask about it. We were unsure as to whether or not we had access to the kitchen and dining room pictured. Wifi was available and worked well. Communication with the host was easy and timely. Overall, this is a property I would recommend for a short-term stay. In our case, for 2 nights prior to travelling to our other destination, the property served its purpose.

Attention : Chambre dans une habitation privée

Il y a tromperie sur l'hébergement. Le lieu est présenté comme un établissement professionnel or il ne s'agit que de chambres chez l'habitant, dans une maison qui n'est pas terminée. Il ne s'agit ni d'un guesthouse (chambre d'hôtes), ni d'un bed&breakfast comme indiqué. Il s'agit d'une chambre (room to let) dans une résidence privée. Il n'y a aucun service de restauration ni de petit déjeuner. Pas d'accès aux "espaces communs" (qui sont privés !) hormis le jardin. La chambre est agréable mais cette prestation n'est pas de l'hôtellerie.

Dimitris spoke very good English and was very helpful when our flight was delayed resulting in us arriving at the hotel after the official check in at midnight. I was able to call him from the flight and explain the problem with only a few hours notice. He was polite, cheerful and helpful on our arrival in the early hours. We only stayed the one night so were unable to sample the facilities but he was happy for us to leave our cases until 5pm on day of check out if we required. The property is his home and it felt most welcoming.

Comfortable w/2 rooms and a bathroom. To get to the bathroom, you had to go up 2 steps, therefore, is not for everyone. If people coming in were very loud, this could disturb you if you are a light sleeper. Nice neighborhood and close to the Metro. Restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. One of the owners, Dimitri, was willing to accommodate requests. No soap or washcloths. I wasn't told how to exchange towels and was only given 4 bath towels at check-in=not enough for a woman who usually takes 2 showers per day.

REGRETS

je ne choisirai pas à nouveau cet hébergement tout simplement pour plusieurs raisons : - eloignement du centre d'athènes (obligés de prendre le taxi/metro/tramway à chaque fois) - le confort de la chambre (lits faisant du bruit et très inconfortable) - décoration désuette et vieillotte - ménage hasardeux et imprudent (la chambre a été laissé ouverte après le passage de la femme de ménage) ??? j'avais de l'argent dans la chambre L'accueil très très moyen Dimitri n'a pas du tout chercher à nous aider à nous informer à nous conseiller A refaire , je prendrai directement dans le centre d'athènes // plaka ...

Spotless B&B

Lovely B&B. We were on the ground floor with a pretty garden. You can book breakfast however there is plenty of bakeries and Supermarkets including Lidl within a 10 min walk. There’s a Little bar in next street - and approx 15-20 restaurants within a 10 min walk and a McDonalds. Metro station approx 8 min walk away and it’s approx 12 mins ride on Metro into Athens. So easy to get around.

Alle Hotels waren wegen irgendeines Großevents ausgebucht, daher meine erste B&B-Erfahrung in Athen. Natürlich kann man B&B nicht mit Hotels vergleichen. Ist man aber ständig Hotels gewöhnt, ist man wohl zu kritisch. 2 Nächte; sehr freundlicher Owner; Souterrain-"Wohnung" mit zwei kleinen Zimmern; Nasszelle sehr gewöhnungsdürftig; Internet OK; Frühstück war nicht gebucht. Mückengitter am Fenster wären hilfreich. Flughafentransfer durch das B&B ist angebracht, da Flughafen-Taxis die Adresse wohl nicht sofort finden werden (Transfer kostet nicht mehr, funktioniert aber auch).

Excellent Stay!

This is a very nice B&B providing all conditions for an excellent stay! The B&B is located in a nice, neighbor with a close proximity to the Athens centre (few minutes by metro). IT also has a parking which has been very convenient (you can leave the car there and use the metro to the centre) The rooms are very nice and extra clean. The owners are friendly helping their guests with anything they want. I definitely recommend it for guest who are visiting Athens either on holidays or business.

An great choice!

The hotel is an excellent choice for someone who wants to stay in a easy going neirbour outside the noise of the centre, but still within 15 traveling distance. The rooms are nice and super clean, while the garden is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the breakfast. The owners are very helpful, providing great hospitality with a home feeling
