A stone’s throw from Patission Avenue, one of the city’s major thoroughfares, the neighborhood is brimming with life, thanks to its proximity to shops, bakeries, supermarkets, cafes, and ethnic eateries, reflecting the multicultural fabric of modern Athens. Within walking distance is Victoria Square, a historic meeting point that’s surrounded by neoclassical architecture and vibrant commercial activity. Just beyond lies the lush Pedion tou Areos, one of the largest green parks in Athens—ideal for morning jogs, family strolls, or peaceful breaks from city exploration.
This central location offers excellent public transport connections. The Victoria metro station (Line 1) is nearby, providing direct access to major city hubs like Monastiraki, Omonia, Syntagma, and the Port of Piraeus, which is approximately 10 km away and can be reached in under 30 minutes by metro. Multiple bus and trolley lines run along the surrounding streets, making navigation around Athens smooth and convenient. The Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) is about 35 km away, accessible in roughly 40–50 minutes via the metro or by express bus. The area is well suited for travelers who want to immerse themselves in daily Athenian life while enjoying quick access to both the city’s historic center and practical transport routes.
Other Things to Note:
We would like to inform you about an important regulation mandated by the Greek government. From April to October, all guests are required by law to pay an Environmental Fee. This fee cannot be included in the booking price and must be collected separately before arrival, as stipulated by the Greek authorities.
The fee is:
€8 per night for apartments
€15 per night for villas
Please note:
This amount is not a charge from us, and we do not profit from it in any way.
Once we collect this fee, we pay it in full directly to the government as a tax.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to waive, reduce, or absorb this fee, no matter the circumstances.
Payment is required before check-in, as per Greek law.
We completely understand this might be frustrating, and we sincerely wish we could make it easier for you. However, we are legally obligated to comply, and without this payment, check-in is not permitted.
