We stayed in a penthouse apartment (sounds bougie, but the price was excellent!). The view from our apartment was lovely. Our apartment was on the roof, and we had access to a covered picnic table. The town was really Greek and not touristy. The beach was fabulous and had a walkway near it to enjoy. It’s only a 20-minute cab ride to the airport—a wonderful place to visit before or after a cruise, or just by itself!

This was a great last resting stop before travelling home. Perfect location to the airport, it was nice to have the beach so close. The building is run down and the apartment could use some updating. But the view was spectacular and the location to the beach was perfect. As for cleanliness the flooring needs a good cleaning, it felt sandy as soon as we arrived. But all and all it was a clean condo. Communication was great, and an easy check in and out.

Great views

Codes were easy to use to enter unit. It was a cute unit and had everything we needed. There was a noce little area off the back of the unit that led to the beach. A couple of downsides-parking. On the side street where the unit is located there were cars parked on both sides which made it extremely hard to get on the street to park or get out. Next, there were small ants all over the bathroom. Hot water-we did not see the notice about turning on a switch for hot water at least 20 minutes before using. If using hot water, just know you may have to do this in advance.

I loved the stay at this beachside condo. It was clean, airy, and had great views. The dining and local shopping options couldn’t have been better. The air conditioner was very powerful! It was also very nice to have a clothes drying rack on the balcony.

Right on the beach, beautiful swimming area, with many restaurants in walking distance. Apartment is right on the main road, and while street noise did not bother me or my daughter at all it did bother my husband. Apartment/rental itself was compact, has elevator to get upstairs, beautiful roof top to sit and enjoy the view. Pretty convenient to the airport, we were able to book a taxi for 25 euros one way and also the host was able to store our luggage (7 pieces total) for a few hours for a reasonable fee.

This is an amazing apartment. Great views, lots of food and stuff to do. You just have to know that parking is terrible around the area in tourist season on the weekends. You need to find a parking spot by 10 am or you are in trouble.

The apartment smells awful like cat urine as soon as I walked in the door. The terrace doors have no screens on them so it was hard to air out the room without letting one of the many stray cats in. The beach access is directly beside the patio so there was a lot of foot traffic very close to the terrace. The main entry door on the building slams shut so loudly that the apartment door shakes like someone is hitting it with a battering ram, and the whole area is not quiet at all. I would only recommend this place to a group of men looking to party into the wee hours of the morning. Not for quiet travellers or families.

Overall we are happy with the accommodations, but some items definitely need attention and/or repair. The electric security blinds in the bedroom did not operate up or down and the bathroom door lock is broken. We were pleased that the beds for both bedrooms were clean and prepared for the four of us, and the location was nice and safe.

2 étoiles pour la vue, le reste est très médiocre

La vue est vraiment le seul point fort de ce logement : on surplombe la mer avec une belle terrasse, ce qui est agréable. Mais à part ça, l’appartement ne tient pas ses promesses. Dès l’arrivée, la poignée de la porte d’entrée m’est restée dans la main. Un des volets est bloqué et ne coulisse pas. La chambre est très mal occultée : dès que le soleil se lève, la lumière inonde la pièce — à éviter si vous aimez dormir dans le noir complet. Le bouton de réglage de la douche est aussi cassé, ce qui complique son utilisation. La décoration est vieillotte et les finitions laissent vraiment à désirer pour le prix demandé. Il faut également savoir que le logement est assez isolé : aucun transport direct vers l’aéroport (25€ de taxi minimum), et l’arrêt de bus le plus proche de l’aéroport implique 45 minutes de marche. La communication se fait uniquement via un chat en ligne, sans véritable échange humain. À notre demande de check-out tardif, on nous a répondu que le ménage serait fait « en dernier », mais la femme de ménage est arrivée 15 minutes en avance et m’a demandé de quitter les lieux sur le champ, de manière franchement désagréable. En résumé : une vue sympa, mais un logement surcoté au vu des prestations, du confort réel et du service.
