The hotel was amazing! Staff were so friendly and helpful! The rooms were spectacular, super comfortable, super clean! It has a beautiful rooftop bar with a view of the Parthenon. The hotel is perfectly located with walking distance to all major sites, restaurants, and events! The front doors are always locked and staff are always on guard at the front desk to unlock the doors right away when you get there, so it’s extremely safe!

This hotel is located in the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, shops and ancient ruins. If you are spending a few days in Athens, this is the perfect location!

The Monastiraki area was convenient for sightseeing. As seniors we felt very safe walking around the area in the evenings. We had a great view of the Acropolis at night from the rooftop bar. The Monastiraki Square was very entertaining at night.

the staff was amazingly helpful, nice, friendly, and just plain sharp and efficient. the room, while a tad small, had tall ceilings and was well-appointed so felt generous and accommodating. we couldn't ask for a better location for a one-night stay: we visited the central market, walked to the agora, wandered the reaches of psyrri, and ate well in the surrounding area.

Great property that was clean and welcoming. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly both at reception and in the breakfast area. The rooftop bar was beautiful but only open from 6pm and not on mondays. Would be a great spot to read and chill out during the day.

The staff was friendly and helpful - the location was walking distance to everything.I highly recommend the rooftop bar. The view is stunning of the Parthenon at night. It was my birthday and the bartender (Armenian) sorry can not recall his name went about and beyond to play the the birthday song over the speaker and made me a special drink since they did not have cake offer.

Our room was fantastic, spacious and very clean and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed drinks at the roof top bar most evenings and the staff were great at remembering you and the orders. (Perfect old fashioneds btw) The location was absolutely perfect, easy and quick walk to dining options and attractions - you can't hear the traffic from the main road. There's supermarkets and pastry shops within 2mins and the Acropolis is only a 20min walk. I'd stay here again if I was to return to Athens.

The property was clean and mainly quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast, and the hotel is in a very convenient location for the metro and there are bars and restaurants around the area too. I had a very pleasant stay at NLH, and would recommend to anyone travelling to Athens.
