Beautiful Log Cabin For Romantic Getaways 20 Acres

Our real log home has been recently renovated and completely redecorated.The cabin sleeps 4 but is really intended for a romantic couple's retreat. It has a loft with a queen log bed and furniture. The living room has a gas fireplace for snuggling on cold evenings. For extra guests there is a pull out sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room is furnished with a log table. On the deck you will find a gas grill, outdoor table and chairs, and a 4-person hot tub, great for star gazing. Central AC/Heat. Ceiling fan. Flat screen TV w/DVD and CD player. No local or cable tv provided. Hardwood floors throughout. Bed & bath linens provided. Hot tub towels provided. No Pets. No Phone. No internet. Limited cell service.

The cabin is located right off RT 328 and is close to the State Parks. Minutes away from Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, canoe liveries, and zip lines. Nelsonville is a short drive away and Athens is a mere 30 minute drive on RT33. Walmart, Kroger, and Save A lot are very close for all your grocery needs.

You may need four wheel or all wheel drive in the winter months.

The perfect weekend getaway!

It was a suprise for my husbands birthday, we both NEEDED to get away and just relax. This was the absolute perfect place and experience. The cabin was cozy and clean, and we really got to connect and just be with each other. The amenities provided made it less stressful when packing for a trip! Overall 100000/10 experience. Definitely coming back!

The perfect getaway cabin

This cabin is super cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing/romantic getaway. The lack of cell/internet service was welcomed and was the break we didn’t know we needed but just enough service to check in with kids when needed. Everything was super clean and the cabin was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The bottle of wine waiting for us when we got there was the perfect touch!

Excellent stay!

Cabin was as advertised - clean, cozy, and well-appointed. The lack of phone signal and internet was a definite plus. Hot tub was clean and wonderful. It rained most of the time, so we didn't use much of the outdoor features aside from the hot tub, but they looked well-made and clean.Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and plenty of natural and electric light for a gloomy day inside. Randy was communicative and gave prompt responses when we had questions for him.Will happily stay here again!

Warm and inviting

This cabin was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway. It had such a warm/cozy and inviting feel. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. Everything was super clean and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. The lack of cell phone service was great to be able to unplug from the world for a brief moment but was just enough to check in on the kids if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was nice. The incline was steep to get to the cottage. It was really nice to relax in the hot tub. The cottage was very clean. It was a nice getaway!

Great quiet getaway

The property was very clean, easy to get to, close proximity to eveything we wanted to do. Hocking Hills has now become one of our favorite places! Definitely will be back!! The perfect place for a quiet getaway with my husband!

The weekend getaway

It was lovely! The cabin is out of the way and has no Wi-Fi or much cell service, so you know what you’re getting. But it was a lovely little cabin up a steep hill. We loved the hot tub and the easy access to the Hocking Hills region. Overall, a great place to visit Hocking Hills from!

The cabin was beautiful and very well kept. It was equipped with items that may be forgotten when leaving home…. Toothbrush, neosporin… The movies were well stocked. Overall - a very enjoyable weekend. I would only change the ice (no one’s control)… the snow is a given at the time of year. My only suggestion would be to turn the lamp on by the recliner during the evening and look at the wall up by the moose. It just needs a dusting.

Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway

We had the best time and didn’t want to leave. The size of the cabin is perfect for two. We really enjoyed the deck and hot tub! Kitchen has everything you need to cook and grill. Convenient to Hocking Hills State Park.

Loved this cabin!

We loved our stay here. The place was very clean and kitchen equipped with everything needed to cook for a night in. Quiet and secluded cabin. We enjoyed the hiking nearby, visiting local breweries, and can’t forget about the hot tub. The thank you card and wine bottle was a nice surprise. I would definitely stay here again!
