Property is clean and updated. Location is just outside the core tourist area, with easy walk to all attractions like Plaka. Lots of local restaurant, shops in the area as well, with easy access to train and tram.

I stayed with a friend for six days, and we each had our own restroom, which was nice. Helena arranged for airport pickup, and the driver gave us a brief tour to show us where the key box was and where to find good food. She responded quickly to my inquiries. The only downside was that there was only one set of keys, and since we had different schedules at times, we had to work around that

Helena, the host was so helpful, kind and clear on all that we needed for a great stay. The apartment is very neat, just like in the pictures and the location is unbeatable! Apartment check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Apartment was clean. Located on a busy street but we enjoyed people watching from the balcony. Close to restaurants and popular stes. A cafe was just down the steps which everyone enjoyed!

Nice, clean, comfortable apartment near the important places Athens is known for. Only drawback is it's on a major thoroughfare with traffic and vehicles noise but highly recommend because of the great hosts and their team. Do yourself a favor and reserve the ride from the airport.

We enjoyed a transfer from the airport directly to the apartment, a good briefing about the area—the apartment being so close to the historical area. Everything was clean and functional. Perfect for us! Tomorrow a transfer to the ferry. We very much appreciate the host helping us with these connections.

Enjoyed the safety of the entrance to the building and to the apartment. Showers worked well. Great location to access Plaka (shopping and eating) and the main archaeological sights in Athens as well as the hopon-hopoff bus service. Only downside was it located on a main street that could be fairly busy. I would stay here if we return to Athens

The property served us well as it was conveniently located within walking distance to all main attractions. The property was was spotless and comfortable. Check-in was fine, other than loading and unloading on a busy street which was a challenge. Helena was attentive and responded to our inquiries almost immediately. Great stay overall.

Helena welcomed us when we arrived with traditional Greek bakery items, juice, and bottles of water. After giving us a tour of the apartment, pointing out the “how to’s” of the boiler, air conditioner, and elevator, she gave us a bird’s eye view of the neighborhood from the balcony with helpful information for catching the metro (subway) and tram stations just 2-3 blocks away. Be sure to read through the detailed binder that contains the historical sites, description and corresponding map.

We were so impressed with the timely response from the property managers. We were picked up at the airport with great ease. Check in time was 3pm, but they had the cleaners there early so we could check in early. So kind of them. It was a busy street, but once you start exploring you find so many restaurants and bakeries and even a supermarket close by. The acropolis museum was a 10 minute walk,

A great stay! The location was excellent for visiting the main sites in the Acropolis area, which was great for my boys (ages 6-12) because the walk was manageable. The apartment was as stated - nothing fancy, but everything worked great, and our pick up from the airport and check-in with George was friendly and informative. The coffee shop just below was a treat - I chatted with Vasillius and Fortina every morning as I got lattes - and there's a supermarket only a 5 minute walk away. The only two minor quibbles I would offer are: Number 1- there's a dryer listed in the amenities, which the place did not have. In the "Laundry" section it lists only a washer, which is the correct/accurate set up, so maybe I should have looked deeper. But, as a family of 5, in need of laundry during our trip, this wasn't a big deal (we used the drying racks, no problem) but it was unexpected. Number 2: the neighborhood felt very safe, but there are two sex shops right nearby, one across the street, very prominently in view from the balcony and as you leave the apartment. As New Yorkers, this didn't bother us, but it did occasion a conversation or two with the kids. If traveling with children, just be prepared for a query or two. Overall, though, we had a terrific stay and a memorable visit in Athens - and seeing all the sights was made easy and enjoyable by this apartment.

The perfect location for a family getaway to Athens. Helena and Vassili were the perfect hosts who are very friendly and welcoming. They immediately make you feel like a part of the family when staying in their apartment. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk from the Acropolis museum and Plaka, making it easy to step out for a meal at a nice restaurant or to buy plenty of souvenirs. There are also several grocery stores in the area that a family can get supplies to cook their own meals. Their apartment is well stocked and furnished to meet your every need, and the two bathrooms are updated with modern amenities. Overall out family definitely recommends a stay at Helena and Vassili's apartment, and we look forward to booking a stay here again on our next visit to Athens.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment a lot! It has a great location - central and near the main hotspots and sights (500m walk) but far enough away for all the neighbours to be locals which leads to restaurants and bars being awesome and not pricey! The apartment was clean, everything worked as advertised. As we were a group of 5 the two bathrooms and the washing machine were essential and worked perfectly well. Helena is super friendly and courteous. We are planning on visiting the apartment a second time for the next marathon!

The apartment is exactly like the listing. A good size for 4 people. 1 bedroom is large, 2nd bedroom is a bit smaller. Kitchen and family room was nice. Within walking distance of major tourist attractions. Host was extremely responsive. We were able to drop off luggage early and begin exploring. Host arranged for a driver to pick us up on the last day to take us to the airport. Binder in the room had helpful information. Washing machine worked great. We hung clothes on the drying rack on the balcony and they dried quickly. Great trip!

The apartment was clean, new kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers & one with a bidet. Balcony views to street level. Quiet building, a 5 minute walk to the Plaka with fantastic restaurants & the Acropolis. Anything you could possibly need is within the vicinity such as pharmacy, nail salon, coffee shops. Otherwise, the owner is very responsive & if you should need transport from the airport they are happy to schedule it for you. If you should get Niki as your driver know you’re in good hands.

The check in was smooth. We were sent a code for the lock box. Helena met us at the apartment within the hour of our arrival. She’ a great! So kind and friendly. She recommended places to eat in the neighborhood. Kalamko I was delicious and also the places around that area served delicious, and very affordable meals. Also near to several small markets for groceries. The location was perfect for walking to all of the sites. So convenient too. We did buy a pass for public transportation but didn’t use it as we could walk everywhere. The apartment is 2 minutes to metro, tram and public bus. The apartment has a nice heating unit and two bathrooms. We used the washer and it worked perfectly. We felt safe in the neighborhood and building. Athens is beautiful and everyone was very friendly. There a several car rental places in the area if you wanted to rent a car. The apartment is on a very busy street but if you close the blinds it cuts down on the noise. It is on the 3 rd floor and the elevator works fine. It was a great place to stay for my family of 5. I would definitely recommend!
