「The hosts were very nice and helpful with advice for our travels. Breakfast was fabulous, and our room was comfortable and clean with a large jetted bathtub that was perfect. 」

「when I checked into my room at 5pm, all was fine. then I went into Ghent (lovely city) for the evening. when I got back a little after 11pm there was no power/lights in my room. and no staff to help! there was book on the desk in my room with hotel policies etc, but it was horribly outdated as it said to dial the front desk if one had any questions, but of course there are no longer any internal phones in the hotel. the next morning there was finally front desk staff, but they were incompetent...

「 The reception staff was very inefficient. Although several staff members were present, they did not work efficiently and often ignored waiting customers. Only one staff member assisted one guest at a time, which caused unnecessary delays. As a result, I had to wait 20 minutes just to retrieve my luggage.」

「Unique, characterful and outstandingly beautiful chateau with immaculately maintained parkland grounds. Our room in the old stables had been recently renovated to the highest standard and with attention given to every detail. This is the sort of place that you always hope to discover but rarely do. Even the local town is only a ten minute walk away. Eat at Basile, yet another revelation. We only wished we were staying for longer.」
