「The Bowline Hotel is in an amazing location right on the Columbia River. Our room was very comfortable and the view was great. There were sea lions roaming under the pilings the hotel is build on, and in the water next to the hotel. The Bowline is in very easy driving distance to the museums and restaurants in Astoria, but the whole Astoria boardwalk area was not very lively the weekdays we were there. The two evenings we were there. They have a great breakfast, the lady in charge of breakfast was a little unfriendly, doesn't smile but everything else was great and we will be back」
