A Relaxing Accommodation

The hotel is located in a manor on the outskirts of Asti, with a quiet environment and only more than 2 kilometers away from the city center and the large shopping mall, which is very convenient for self-driving travelers. The double room we stayed in was very spacious. It is with a small balcony overlooking the farmhouses and woods.

Ok for a overnight sleep and drink at the bar

Small hotel, out of the city (which could be a good thing) and is good for a short one night stay. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. No elevator (there is but very slow, don’t know). Bathroom is old and outdated like the rest of the facility, but then again it’s an extremely old establishment so one should expect as much. Overall OK because it’s close to the city and has lots of free parking and (extremely basic) complementary breakfast.

Beaujolais bliss

We drove across Europe from Greece to England and back and this was one of the top stops along the way. The house is IN the Beaujolais wine country and is surrounded by vineyards. Not in a city or even a village, so if you value privacy and want some relaxing downtime from traveling, stop off here and Philipe and Pascal will take care of you. They made us a delicious dinner and breakfast and we met some very interesting other guests. Room was small but comfortable. Ours was in their home but two other rooms are available with private access. There was no AC but open windows and a fan kept us comfortable. Do NOT go there in a heat wave. A jacuzzi is available and they have the sweetest dog you'd ever want to meet. If you go, please treat them with respect. they deserve it.
