"I made this reservation with Hotels.com. I was not told that this was a bed and breakfast that was inside of an apartment building. We spent one whole day trying to find it. When we finally figured out where it was The front door was locked. We couldn’t figure out how to get in and weren’t able to talk to anyone. The biggest problem was lack of communication and language barrier. There were a lot of things that we were not told. Such as how to get into the building or contact the owner to let us...

"GC14 is ‘basic’ in some ways and has minimal facilities (although rooms have the essentials) but it’s in a great location for exploring Palermo on foot or by bus and making day-trips elsewhere in Sicily. The very best thing about it is the young, friendly and efficient staff! They couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and they made us feel warmly welcome."

"Clearly, the ratings have been screened so the poor ones don't show. Poorly managed, false expectations created using photos, inaccurate location details that make it difficult to find, no one answers the phone, even though reception is "open" from 10-00am - 10.00pm. It goes on and on. It was so bad, I abandoned the property, loosing money but it was just terrible. Why Expedia support properties like this, defies logic!"

"Comfortable stay. Only one recommendation to clean out the espresso machine. The water tank was very dirty we were jot able to drink from it. Cleaning lady came knocking/rushing us out at 10 am eventhough check out is at 11 am. The property manager was really responsive and kind. He reached out to her and were able to check out without rush. Everything else was very clean and comfortable."
