「We loved this property. It was perfect for us plus our small dog. The outside space was lovely with it's enclosed garden and small wood beside. Views over to Blencathra were stunning and offered us an ideal spot to just chill out especially after some walking in the hills.Difficult to tear yourself away but will definitely return.」

「Very nice place, we felt like at home here. Everything was clean. The apartment has everything you need, you can cook, you can relax. The town is beautiful. Shops literally across the street. Cheap parking right next to the apartment. The owners are very helpful and answer all questions very quickly. I would definitely go back to this place and I highly recommend it. 「We booked as we thought it was a weekend break with a hot tub. It has hot tubs on site but we did not have one as we had planned and was really disappointing. 「We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely.」

「We enjoyed our stay in the little apartment. It was in a great location for exploring the local area. It was well stocked with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing that let it down was that some of the crockery was quite worn & chipped. We had to wash it all before use as there were still remnants from previous guest's food which was disappointing. 」
