An older house so no central AC, but the owner had portable air conditioners in the bedrooms and living areas so we were comfortable. It's a 15 minute walk to downtown so that was nice.

We loved the cottage. We especially appreciated a kitchen ready to bring in the groceries and cook a real meal. No need to buy basic ingredients and condiments for just a few days! Michael was generous in offering whatever kitchen gadgets we needed.

We loved our stay at this truly charming little family home! The house was full of everything you could want to eat well, sleep well, and enjoy the company of friends and family with games or a movie night. July Shakespeare Festival

We were looking for a good place to stay within walking distance of the theatre and downtown. The space was bigger than expected and had great space for all 5 of us to hang out, cook and only a 15 minute walk to the shows and restaurants. We’re booked for a few more days in August and looking forward to our stay! Many thanks!

The hot tub stopped working a few mins after we jumped in. Other than that, the property was great and we'd stay here again.

Graduation weekend

We have stayed I. Dozens of VRBOs, and this one is top rate! Location is great for walkers, house is well appointed with essentials, and if. Decor. Beds are comfy. Host is next door and attentive to any need, but not intrusive in any way. We will be back!

Fantastic well-equipped comfortable great location

Our family had an amazing time staying here. We went hiking in Lithia Park, shopped in downtown Ashland, and saw plays. We were able to have a Passover Seder thanks to the well equipped kitchen and dining area. We had seven family members sleepover, and everybody slept Beautifully. The house has fun artwork and decorations and many pieces of furniture for storage. Next time we bring swimsuits to enjoy the hot tub.

Comfortable and Convenient

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this cozy, welcoming home. It’s well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms, and with comfortable beds - it is exactly as advertised. It was easy walking distance to all of downtown - as well as our son’s tiny apartment. We appreciated the pet friendly home as we were able to bring our dog so our whole family could spend rare time altogether. Thanks, Michael, for sharing your home; we plan to be back!

Lovely Stay

Well-equipped, convenient location. Place was appropriate for one companion with limited mobility and another with a pet. Very cute and amply equipped cooling ability. Very much enjoyed it. Our only regret is we were too busy to take advantage of the very inviting Jacuzzi . . . next time.

Everything we needed

We enjoyed this house. Found the beds comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked for cooking and coffee. It was clean and the spaces were nice for relaxing, the deck was especially nice in the morning. We enjoyed some of the extras like the grill, games, and yoga mats for stretching. Also a good location to walk to downtown/Lithia Park. On 90 degree plus days it would probably be nice to have another AC unit. Only one of the bedrooms had it’s own AC.

This was a Great place to stay. It had So Many amenities. It’s Kitchen had so many tools that you normally don’t find in many places. It was like you brought your kitchen with you. The back yard Deck & Hot Tub area were a pleasure to just sit & relax in. The owners really made a Special place here at the Ohana House

Perfect

We stopped in Ashland to see two days of plays and the Ohana House was the perfect spot for the four of us. Easily walkable to downtown, great kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. It was hot and we had to run all the standing air conditioners to keep the house comfortable. it worked! We'll stay here again.

Perfect place to stay with dogs

Michael was so welcoming to my dogs. It’s the perfect place - great back yard that is safely fenced and gated, and a “lived-in” feel to the house that makes it a very relaxing place to stay. Great location for Ashland sights etc - a little traffic noise during the day but it’s quiet at night. kitchen well equipped although we didn’t do much cooking. Lovely patio to sit and eat and relax. Altogether a great stay. Thank you Michael. I can definitely recommend and hope we will be back!

Every part of the home was perfect for all of us who stayed. Besides the three bedrooms, there was also a couch/sleeping area in the family-type room with a bar. The owner talked with us and answered questions. He was very on top of things.
