Whenever staying in the South the Regina Goren is my favorite. Tatyana and the staff are always welcoming and attentive. The hotel can be difficult to find but once you know, you know. It’s like a hidden Jen. Very clean and quiet. The ocean view is nice but if you want real quiet the garden is a better choice.
Cleaning, parking, room, breakfast - OK
However - there was no WiFi in the room - that could be understood, can happened
But - the reply of the reception staff was terrible. They didn't even try to hear my complaint, nor to fix, they just replied that this is what they have... was very unacceptable and disappointing service
The concierge gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The beds were a little lumpy - that was the only downside. Loved the view of the Mediterranean Sea from the balcony.
Hotel was pleasant, clean and quiet. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was just as it should be. Nothing was lacking. Breakfast was quite basic, but sufficient. We were there for only one night and were very happy.

Liked: Staff & service
Hotel as we were used to back in 80s and 90s, not much space, no storage space in bedroom, not enough paved parking space. I guess you get what you pay for.
It was fine in general except for the bed which is bent down as a result of excessive use.
I spend a night or 2 once a week for business in this hotel (alone) and I don’t even eat breakfast (included in the price) and always leave the room clean when I leave. I really appreciate a small discount
Thank you 🌹

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Third world hotel in a first class nation.
This used to be the best hidden gem in Israel, but no more. Though clean throughout, the building and grounds could use some TLC. Litter scattered all around the property is unbelieveable and condition of the bldg. is a bit ragged. The AYCE breakfast leaves a lot to be desired with used, mismatched dishes right out of Goodwill, spotted and soiled cutlery and menu items featuring many cheeses - sourcream, farmers cheese and some sliced gouda - but little else. In short, a sad attempt at a buffet. Tarps over the roof just add to the sadass condition of the building. The A/C unit draining down the wall all over the TV and flooding the room the first night there only served to add to the seediness of the property. Sorry Regina Goren, this is modern Israel and not some third world country. You used to be so much better.
It fitted exactly to our needs - Suite with tow very comfortable rooms, nice veranda with beautiful view to the see, and good breakfast.
We already were there in the past and we shall return!
