This was a wonderful place to spend a couple of nights. The bed was super comfortable! We had two small dogs with us and there was space for them to roam around inside and plenty of space for their sleeping crates that they didn’t get in our way. We appreciated the easy parking, a yard and sidewalk lined streets for dog walking. We took advantage of the refrigerator and microwave for our take out dinner and also loved having a Keurig coffee maker with plenty of choices and the add-ins we needed.The location was very convenient as well. We only had a day and an evening in Asheville but location and cottage could easily suit a longer stay.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway at this charming cottage. The place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We were happy to be able to travel with our dog and bowls and clean up supplies were provided. The neighborhood is quiet even though it is close to downtown. Check in was easy and the hosts were quick to communicate. Kitchenette has microwave, Keurig with pods provided, a mini-fridge and freezer, and dishes/utensils but lacks a sink. Would definitely return!

Very convenient location with a comfortable bed, and also very clean. I really appreciated that they allowed us to bring our dog, who was very comfortable with the accommodations as well. This is a great area and very convenient to anywhere you'd want to get in the Asheville area.

Wonderful stay

Amazing Stay!

My husband is hard to please and he thought the place, the location and the lovely neighborhood was amazing. Our dog was content and got lots of walks without traffic! The host’s restaurant recommendations were great too! We highly recommend and plan to return as soon as we can! Will never stay in a hotel again!

Great Stay, Quiet Neighborhood, but close to everything

This is a terrific place that is in a quiet neighborhood but still very close to downtown and Biltmore (maybe 10-15 minutes). There are walkable dining options (hosts provide extremely helpful info as part of the confirmation process on food and activities too). We walked our pup in the neighborhood and felt very comfortable. You can walk to Dunkin Donuts - but the Keurig unit and coffees in the unit may obviate the need.The Cottage has a living space and separate bedroom. It is well decorated and very comfortable. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable! There is a limited kitchen but we stayed with our pup and got takeout on some nights and there is a table and small fridge, microwave and Keurig - exactly as advertised. We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine.Hosts are terrific and very responsive with helpful insight and accurate info.We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Asheville!

Charming cabin stay

I had a short stay with my 2 dogs, in this charming cabin. Michael was great with communication and very helpful with recommendations. He made sure that I was greeted, and that I had everything I needed during my stay. When I wasn’t helping my daughter pack up her dorm, we explored the botanical gardens, good food, and long walks through the cute neighborhoods. It had everything I needed for my quick trip and beautiful weather for relaxing just outside my door amongst the natural beauty of the garden.

Asheville Mini-moon

The Flamingo was the perfect home base for our mini-moon in Asheville! We had the best time hiking, visiting the Biltmore, going to the Grove Park Inn, and eating our way around town. And we loved that our dog Griffin could join us!

Easy-peasy, clean, quiet & nice people! Gentle welcome to my dog appreciated. Walking access to Trader Joe’s & Whole Foods. We enjoyed Pisgah Forest hikes - about 30 mins drive. Bamboo in the area gave my Viet Nam veteran hub some shivers! But, nothing to do with just right housing.

Quick Trip. Was Lovely.

What an awesome place! It’s old. I’m guessing circa 1920-1930. But it’s been tastefully, artistically, and efficiently renovated. We were very comfortable. The hosts are wonderful. The neighborhood is dog-walkable and close to everything downtown. What a great City Asheville is; and, this place is a jewel in the box.

Great 3 day stay!

The property was perfect for what we wanted to do - walked a lot to and from downtown. brought our 3 month old golden-doodle and she had a blast! the place was actually bigger than expected and we loved having the keurig in the morning!

I had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in North Asheville! The location was fantastic—quiet yet conveniently close to everything I needed. Best hosts ever!

Adorable property and very dog friendly!The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were very kind and responsive. Nice neighborhood and several good restaurants very close. Would have been walking distance if the weather was warm. The property was only about a 15 minute drive to the Biltmore. It was a pleasure to be in Asheville again after 20 years.
