Beautiful spacious cottage attached to 100 year old historic Appalachian home, less than one mile from the heart of downtown Asheville. Large bedroom with New Cal King Tuft & Needle bed, living room with fireplace, clawfoot bath tub in bathroom.

The spiral staircase is for decoration only. Everything is on first floor so don’t worry about having to climb stairs!

The Flamingo was the perfect home base for our mini-moon in Asheville! We had the best time hiking, visiting the Biltmore, going to the Grove Park Inn, and eating our way around town. And we loved that our dog Griffin could join us!

Christmas at the Biltmore

The Cottage was a very convenient location for all things Asheville. Easy access to hiking/biking trails. We tried a few of our host recommended restaurants and really enjoyed them. Great dog friendly location close to Downtown Asheville

The cottage was perfect for our outdoor vacation in Asheville. It was located near a park to walk the dog in the morning and about 1.5 mile to the downtown restaurants and fun. We loved that it was a homey environment for our dog to rest in after a big day of hikes and adventures. It had everything that we needed and was perfect for our stay. Would recommend.

Perfect AVL Cottage

The owners thought of everything we would need, but more importantly, they created a cozy and welcoming space! The pet basket and bowls were a nice touch too. We were there for the first snow of 2024, and they thoughtfully salted the walkway. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

Adorable property and very dog friendly!The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and were very kind and responsive. Nice neighborhood and several good restaurants very close. Would have been walking distance if the weather was warm. The property was only about a 15 minute drive to the Biltmore. It was a pleasure to be in Asheville again after 20 years.

Quiet, cozy and eclectic, this cottage is a gem. The hosts' attention to detail, such as the super soft bedsheets, stocked Keurig coffee bar and homemade bark box for dog necessities, were appreciated.
