Cabin was as described in the review and was conveniently located for our visit to the Biltmore (20-25 minute drive). Check-in was seamless with a code to the lockbox. There was plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, and the fireplace heated the room very quickly. The beds were very firm (I prefer a softer bed), but that’s just personal preference. There was plenty of hot water for showers with good pressure, and the bathrooms were spacious. Although we did not use the fire pit, wood was provided. Also provided was paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, etc.). The kitchen could use a larger skillet, but other than that it was stocked with everything you need. The coffee maker was broken but after contacting the owner, a replacement was provided. The house could use a deep clean. The microwave was dirty as well grease on the oven drawer handle and needed to be cleaned before we could use it. Also, we had to empty the clean dishes from the dishwasher before using it. One of the bathrooms upstairs had only two towels and only one towel in the kitchen. Upon departure we discovered an entire load of towels (kitchen and bath) in the dryer. These are things I believe the owner’s cleaning crew should have taken care of before we arrived. Other than the cleaning issues, the stay was good.
