"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "

There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. "My family of 4 adults stayed here. It did not disappoint! Tim & Victoria are perfect hosts and the communication is great. They provide a lot of useful info to plan and stay at their home.. even have an app & book. Although they tried very hard to explain where to park to drop off our things, we failed...but it's ok. Once you found the home, it was easy after that. They left many goodies to enjoy. Thank you! Their kitchen is well-stocked and has a Nespresso machine with a milk frother. I loved...

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"The staff were all lovely. Very comfortable bed and room. It was marvellous to have a bath as I only have a shower at home. The food is good. For dinner last night I started with crab and prawn salad followed by duck. For breakfast I ordered eggs florentine, it was very good. Beautifull surroundings. There is a golf course next door. "
