"The gite is well equipped and is good sized for a couple. The two stand-outs for me were: The picture south-facing window, so had wonderful light and an incredible view that changed through the day: The downstairs bedroom which stayed cool even with 30c days. "Staying in and among buildings in a village settled in 1067, clinging to a steep mountain wall, seemed to connect us deeply to the history and geography of South France. Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."
