Ski resorts such as Hohenbogen, Großer Arber, St. Englmar and Eck are very popular, easy to reach and allow pure winter fun. The surrounding area also offers you many interesting excursion destinations: Seepark Arrach, fairy tale and ghost castle Lambach, museum village Tittling, bird of prey park Grafenwiesen, summer toboggan run St. Englmar, high ropes park Lam, Badewelt Aqacur Bad Kötzting and the cities of Regensburg, Bodenmais, Zwiesel and Passau.
