"The apartment is on the first floor and it was a very nice and clean place to stay. There is enough space to put away your clothes and other stuff. I loved all the windows you can open. The kitchen is very well equipped. The living room is nice and spacious with two really comfortable chairs. My mom and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely recommend this apartment."

"Pros: Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und es ist alles und noch mehr im Ferienhaus vorhanden. Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, sodass wir uns um unseren Boxer auch keine Gedanken machen mussten. Auch dieser hat den Garten sehr genossen :)."

"We really enjoyed our time here! The garden was a fantastic spot for the kids to play while we had a drink on the terrace, The apartment was clean and nicely furnished, Plus, we were close to Burgk Castle, which made for a great day trip, Very satisfied!"

Alles top!Was man wissen sollte (keine Kritik, sondern nur als Entscheidungshilfe): Es gibt keine Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen, außer natürlich die Wiese in fußläufiger Entfernung. Die Küche hat alles Nötige für einfache Gerichte, Knoblauch-Presse, Gewürze, ein wirklich scharfes Messer, Käsereibe etc. sollte der Hobby-Koch aber mitbringen. Und Achtung, der Kühlschrank hat...

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff was amazing. They accommodated out late check in and vegan made special a vegan breakfast fit for a queen. You won't be staying in the castle but in the building they have right beside. The area is quite peaceful. Very German ! "

"I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."
