"This house had a glorious past. Now the kitchen, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms are disgusting. The outside is all neglected, filled with dilapidated furniture from the containers that no one wants. It’s a pitty. The price is almost a scam. We have added updated pictures of the house. "The hosts, Maria and Victor were awesome! At our request, Maria had the kindness to cook for us 3 of the 4 days we stayed at their beautiful place. She’s an amazing cook! "Good stay. Host attentive. No washer as advertised, we had everything else we needed. The 5th room is accessed on outside. There is a fish pond right outside with frogs that croaked all night. This friend recommends draining pond to get rid of loud croaking frogs, or have a sound machine with white noise. We had a loaf of bread delivered each day, very nice. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate this host!!"

But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."
