"While the staff attempted to be friendly, there was a lot of instances where keys just stopped working, loud maintenance work, and the rooms were just so-so. It may be better to just stay in Brookings, SD and drive to De Smet vs staying here."

The only issue was the chemical in the pool was so strong multiple kids were breaking out and you could barely be in the pool room. But when we told the staff they were wonderful and accommodating. Parking was super easy and plenty of room. The hotel is older but you can tell that the staff does their best to keep it as clean as possible. We would definitely stay there again! "

"It’s a cheapo hole for the night sort of place, zero frills, cheap sheets, well worn rooms paper thin walls. I’d do another 40 mins and get to Watertown next time. "
