We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "Room was very very basic and seems to be pretty old. Bathroom condition was extremely bad - if I open the basin, water will come out from bottom and will flood the bathroom floor. Even though the staffs behaved well, their service was not that good - on our second day of our stay, we requested for room service and specifically for the toiletries to be refilled.. even though they did the room service, the next request was not fulfilled. Positive part was the breakfast - it was fresh. But don’t expect a very elaborated ones. We found that the portions of the American / continental ones were not enough for us."
