「Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The host is very nice and helpful. The house is like a palace and the views from the house are stunning. The house is very well equiped, I can't think of anything missing. They even have a 'kaasschaaf' (Dutch for 'cheese slicer). The house is also a good base for walks and trips to interesting sites in the proximity. We highly recommend it.」

「What a home… the view, the space, the location are all stunning. John made the check in incredibly simple and was kind enough to drop by the next day to welcome us. If you’re looking for (somewhat) remote tranquility on a stunning Irish peninsula, stop scrolling. For the very reasonable price John charges, you won’t find better. I promise you! 「We had a great time staying at this property. It is in the heart of Connemara with easy access to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara NP, Clifden, Galway and Westport. The islands are very close as well. As you should expect Irish weather changes on a dime from rain to sun and back in a moments notice. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful.」

「Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.」

「Great house not far from Clifden. Perfect for our trip in the Connemara region! Mary was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again. There is a drying press upstairs, this thing was great! Told Mary I want one in my house!!!!!Never used the dryer, only the drying press!!! Home was very clean. Plenty of sheep to see right outside of your door and horses too. The lake is beautiful!!!」
