"We shared a king bed room with a pull out. My two kids, 14 and 10 both comfortably shared that. My son’s only complaint was the springs in the mattress. We had a lot of space in the room, could have fit two regular sized air mattress. Breakfast was good. The lobby bar is small and only serves beer and wine. A 7 eleven is right down the street. Microwaves only in the lobby."

"I really want this place to finish its refurbishing and succeed. It's location is beautiful, but the buildings are old and needing more than just a coat of paint and new carpet to really shine. Staff at the front desk were accommodating. Our bathtub dripped all night long - we had to shut the door to keep the drip noise away. Needed help from the front desk to get the phone and the tv to work. They responded quickly, and were efficient and polite. The driveways need repaving - badly. Noise from outside and other rooms carried easily. But everyone was nice; the linens were fresh; the bed comfortable. The in-room refrigerator was room temperature."

"I’ll start with the good, because that’s a shortlist. The location is super convenient for traveling to/from SJC, Felton, and Santa Cruz. The pool and hot tub were fun. Not onto the bad, we checked into a balcony room and immediately upon opening the door it smelled of cigarette smoke. I tried to be okay with it, but after napping with my baby and waking up with a sore throat we asked to changed rooms. No problem, they switched us to another balcony room. Unfortunately, this room also had a cigarette smell, but not as bad as the first so we decided to settle in. Moving rooms with two young kids is not easy. When we got home all our clothes and belonging smelled of stale cigarette smoke… disgusting! Other than the smoke, the bathtub wouldn’t drain properly and my husband had to adjust the plug. The shower head pressure was awful. Also, be prepared to pay $18 extra a night for parking. What a racket. This is not included in the price of the room. We ate a disappointing breakfast at the restaurant on site one morning, and then went out the remainder of the time."
