「I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. 」

「This is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut on the edge of a pretty and quiet village in the North Pennines. Lots of walking routes nearby and just a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland. "個人の邸宅を改装している趣きのあるホテル。湖畔は目の前で、フェリー乗り場にもすぐの素晴らしいロケーション。街中にも近い。階段が多いことや廊下が軋むことなど、建物の古さは感じるが、泊まった部屋は改装後でシャワーとバス別々にあり、湖畔側なので朝の湖を眺めることができ快適だった。レセプション、ルームサービス、レストラン等のスタッフもとても親切で、レストランの予約や観光プランなどの相談にも対応し、幼児にも優しく接してくれた。コメントに書かれているような人種差別的な態度は感じられなかった。ただし、外装工事中(かなり長い期間行っている模様)の表示がサイトにないこと、リフトが故障しており、見たところ修理する予定もなさそうなこと(荷物は運んでくれるが、幼児を抱えての移動には苦労あり)、結局最初の日は街中のレストランの予約が取れず、それ以上のサポートがなかったことを勘案した評価としました。"
