「Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!).」

「The lounge area is spacious but also homely. The modern, open plan dining area is light and airy and looks out on to the garden. The accommodation was well appointed but the highlight was the attitude of the staff members; in particular, Sarah was delightful and could not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to return if circumstances brought us back to this beautiful area.」

「Food was good. Luxury room was not luxurious. Very small. Carpets on stairs need seeing to as are a trip hazard. Bar area, windows need a very good clean! Cobwebs and dust must have been there quite a while.」
