Elleric Pods - The Last Resort

"Lovely clean and cosy clamping pod in a gorgeous and quiet location. I will say, we got this at a special price due to either a last minute booking, or a cancellation, so we were very happy with the value for money. I couldn't say if we'd feel the same if we'd paid full price. The pod was very cosy, and the owners provided breakfast items, tea, and coffee, which was a very helpful and lovely gesture. They also left a dog bed, dog bowls and some doggy treats, which broke our hearts a little as we hadn't brought our dog on this trip! If there are improvements to be made, I would suggest some clear instructions on how to use the taps, because we couldn't work them out and were nearly scalded on a few occasions as the water got hotter and hotter! Also, if the TV could have the 'terrestrial' UK channels tuned in, that would be great, because everything other than RakutenTV required a login. All in all, though, lovely peaceful location with some great walks on the doorstep. Possibly my favourite accommodation of our whole Scotland trip!"

"One of the most beautiful views ever from our room and the breakfast room. Mike couldn’t have been more accommodating, wanting to insure we had whatever we needed. Definitely recommend."

"A beautiful lodge with wonderful views. The open plan kitchen and lounge is fully equiped with everything needed for your stay. Also, the leather sofas are very comfortable for the evenings. Both bedrooms are a good size and have ample storage. The outdoor furniture on the verandah means that you can enjoy the loch views with your evening drink. Excellent location too between Oban and Fort William."

"We visited in a very cold week in November but the cottage was very warm and comfortable. We were there to walk, and you really need a car to get around, but, that being said, there are so many walks, both locally and further afield. The cottage is very well equipped, and we particularly liked the entrance hall, where there was space to take one's boots off and hang up wet clothes to dry. There was plenty of outdoor space and nice places to sit, but it was too cold for us to use them. It was a lovely peaceful and comfortable place to visit in the winter and we are looking forward to returning when the days are longer and the the leaves on the trees."

"Even in bad weather this apartment is just lovely, you can sit and watch the sea and Mountain View changing with the weather, we could watch seals with our binoculars from the sofa! Everything was nice quality especially the bed /bedding . We loved how private it was too and the welcome pack was lovely too. We left stuff behind by accident and our host Graeme happy to send on to us , very kind! Will def return to this wee treasure"

"We have just returned from this wonderful little flat. We absolutely loved it. It was modern clean and comfortable and you could see so much thought had gone in to make this a comfortable and welcoming space to stay. It is equipped with everything you could need and when the weather allows you can sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy the views. The setting is beautiful and I loved waking up to see the sheep, chickens and horses. We felt so welcomed. It is a great base to be able to explore the surrounding areas too. We cannot recommend this highly enough and definitely want to return again. Just wish we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Tynribbie House. It was a good location for running up and down the Great Glen, and so close to Castle Stalker. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. Our only complaint with the house is that we expected an electric dryer along with the washer and there was only a drying rack. We felt the listing was a bit misleading on this point. But otherwise, it is a great place to stay. "
