"The only difficulty I had at this property was pretty large - the Econolodge did not have my Expedia reservation in their system when I arrived. There was another couple who had booked their stay on Expedia trying to check in at the same time as us with the same issue. The front desk staff indicated they had had many problems with Expedia reservations not being in their system recently. Fortunately, they did have six rooms left, and I was able to get one of them, but it was not the kind of room I originally booked. A special shout out to hotel staff Christian and Josephine who went out of their way to find a room and to keep this customer happy. The property was clean - in fact, the outside of the building had just been power washed, but there was some water on the floor of our room when we entered. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were good. The ice machine on our floor provided good quantities of ice, which is a rarity in hotels these days. The breakfast was good and well-stocked as things were used throughout the morning. During our stay, the pool was not used much, so there were no issues with noise. The hotel is very centrally located to many of the attractions in Pigeon Forge and provided a great base of operations for our visit. Thanks again for a great stay!"
