"We had a wonderful stay overall. Courtney, the desk clerk who checked us in, was friendly, courteous, and professional. Our room faced the river as I requested when the reservation was made. It was clean, comfortable, very quiet, and apparently newly renovated.
The hotel is still undergoing renovations, but this did not distract from our stay. We were alerted the day the workers would be pressure washing that side of the hotel, but experienced some seepage under the door.
We were a bit disappointed that the new Smart TV was not connected to the Wi-fi and the humidity in the room was extremely heavy. Everything was always very damp...the bed linens, the bath towels, even our clothes. Turning the air up didn't really improve things. Maybe adding a dehumidifier in the rooms??
The "game room" was not what we expected and was quite tiny. The indoor pool looked clean and inviting.
The time frame for breakfast was great...most hotels stop serving at 9:00. We wished there was more variety. Every day was exactly the same. It would have been nice to have different selections or additional choices such as waffles, danishes, or muffins.
Other than those few negatives, our overall experience was very good, and we very possibly would stay again."
