  • Vacation rental villa on the island of Crete.
    Villa Lavidona is newly built, with two floors of tastefully furnished, Latin American country style interiors. It offers 2 double bedrooms with access to a loft with a single bed; a sofa bed in the living room; and all modern amenities to accommodate up to 4/8 people.
    On the grounds, there is a lovely outdoor dining area and a beautiful private pool where you can relax and have fun with friends and family on hot Cretan days.
    A few meters away from Villa Lavidona there are Villa Seiri and Villa Falcos (each with a private garden and pool). The three villas can be rented together for a family reunion or a group of friends.
    The property is just a few kilometers from the town of Almyrida, where you’ll find marvelous beaches, restaurants, shops and services of all kinds.
    At guests’ disposal:private pool (depth: 1,5meters); outdoor space with a table and chairs for al fresco dining; Wifi internet; air conditioning, parking.

    Distances: Almyrida (shops of all kinds and sandy beach) 2 km, Vamos 7 km, Vrisses 12 km, Georgioupoli (shops of all kinds and beaches) 15 km, Chania 29 km, airport 33 km, Lake Kournas 30 km, Rethymno 52 km, Heraklion 128 km, the famous Palace of Knossos 129 km.

Der Urlaub in der Villa war einfach nur traumhaft! Die Aussicht aufs Meer war wunderschön, die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr gepflegt. Auch der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Anfahrt über den Schotterweg die letzten Meter war beim ersten Mal sehr spannend, danach aber kein Problem mehr. Die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Ein sehr freundlicher und netter Besitzer, der immer schnell auf unser Anliegen reagierte.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa for a week and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was excellent—close to everything we needed while still being peaceful and relaxing. The villa was well-equipped with all the amenities we could have wanted, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was exceptional from start to finish—friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with any questions or recommendations. Their attention to detail really made our stay even more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place to stay. We would happily return in the future!

We had a wonderful time at the villa lavidona. The view from the balcony is more than wonderful and the design of villa is beautiful. The owner is very kind and the communication was perfect. The villa has everything we need to enjoy our vacation. The villa has Air Conditioning and everything was perfectly clean. We also used the kitchen couple of times and was working perfectly. I can definitely recommend to use the GPS coordinates to navigate to the villa. We couldn’t find it over the address. We want to thank Kosmas very much for the great time we had at his place and hope to see you again! Best wishes ????

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Lavidona and would definitely recommend it, especially for families. The house was exactly as described, if not slightly better, and everything was clean and well kept. Check-in was very smooth despite our late arrival, and the host was extremely communicative, helpful and friendly throughout. The pool was excellent and the views from the house are beautiful. The location on the hill is part of the charm, but be aware that the final drive up is on narrow gravel roads. The air conditioning worked well once we understood the different controls, but a short manual would have been useful. WiFi was weak, likely due to poor mobile coverage in the area, so plan accordingly if you need reliable internet for work. Overall, a great stay and a strong five-star experience.
