Disappointing stay – not as good as expected Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t live up to expectations. I’ve stayed in Premier Inns that were considerably better, and at around a quarter of the price. There’s a small café area adjoining the bar, which was advertised as being open until midnight. However, we went down at around 10:30pm on Saturday night and there wasn’t a single thing available to eat — not even a can of Coke. For a hotel of this standard, I found that really disappointing. The biggest issue is that the pictures online make the hotel look considerably better than it actually is. In reality, parts of it felt quite tired and underwhelming. Overall, I expected much more for the price and unfortunately wouldn’t say the experience matched the impression given online.
