About this property
Raelean - A unique off-grid tiny cabin
Welcome to Raelean!! This beautiful off-grid tiny cabin is snuggly nestled beside a spring-fed creek. Built with the "getting more people outdoors" mindset, you will have just the "bear necessities" during your stay. With one full size bed in the loft and futon on the main floor, you can sleep up to 4 guests inside (2-3 people would be most comfortable). The cabin is powered by 12V (car charger) solar power ONLY. (NO A/C) This limited power source will give you lights and charge a phone or 2 at a time when used responsibly. For convenience, the cabin is stocked with...
☆A kitchenette... featuring a propane camp stove, a sink with 5 gallons of tap water (potable water), and all cookware and silverware you should need.
☆Clean linens for the full size bed (pillows and sheets only - blankets are only provided when overnight temperatures are consistently below 60°F) If you plan to use the futon bed, you will need to bring your own pillows/sheets/blankets or we can provide them upon request for an extra fee of $25.
☆2 towels and 2 washcloths (only provided while shower house is open for use)
☆Propane Buddy Heater. This heater will keep you and your guests nice and toasty during your colder stays. Please remember, there is no A/C during warm months.
☆The House Manual. A white, 3 ring binder located just below the light switches that gives you a deep dive of the cabin, the property, and local attractions/events/restaurants/stores.
☆A fire pit. We provide more than enough (safe for cooking) firewood for each stay and 2 metal outdoor chairs. Extra firewood available upon request for a fee of $10 per bundle (10 pieces).
☆A charcoal grill. No charcoal provided.
☆A picnic table. (outdoor lighting is limited to none- recommended to bring your own lanterns/flashlights)
You will have access to...
☆The shower house. A separate, private, off-grid, single person outdoor shower that is creek-fed. The shower is conveniently heated by propane and has on demand hot water. It is located a short walk away from the cabin. Please note that the shower house may be closed November 1st - April 1st due to freezing temperatures. Contact your host the day before your stay to confirm shower availability.
☆The outhouse. Lovingly renamed "The Honey Pot." Located near but separate from the shower house and cabin, The Honey Pot is provided with a camp toilet. A 5-gallon bucket lined with a trash bag and a scoop of compost, topped with a camp toilet lid. There is a urinal located just to the left of the toilet. And, a sink in front of the toilet with 5 gallons of tap water.
☆Hiking/Mountain Bike trails. All connecting trails to the cabin are webbed across this 32-acre property with inclines and switchbacks. Feel free to explore any trails as much as you would like, only avoiding private camp signs, so that other guests can enjoy their privacy.
As this is a remote, off-grid location, please expect little to no cell service, no wifi, and little to no outdoor lighting. We strongly recommend planning your stay accordingly. Be prepared to check in before dark as navigating the area may be difficult in a new environment with minimal light. Bring flashlights/ lanterns, and whatever you feel you may need to enjoy your stay while camping. Remember that there are no standard outlets only 2 12-Volt inputs.
**Please note** We have 1 security camera present in the parking area.

I'm a city girl and this little off the grid cabin was perfect!!! Far enough away but still convenient if you needed additional supplies. The property itself was beautiful and provided all the necessities!!
This was absolutely the perfect getaway I’ve had. So peaceful. Everything there was perfect! Plenty of supplies there if needed. I felt like I was at home. Will definitely be back!
Raelean was pure perfection! My gal pals (of 37 years) and I thoroughly enjoyed the sanctuary. The owners have truly created something special, here. Everything is so well-done. The cabin is cozy and provides for perfect glamping comfort. The Honey Pot outhouse is also very well-done, complete with composting toilet, separate urinal, sink and interesting artwork. We didn't get to use the shower (off-season), but it is well put together.
