"Absolutely a fantastic location. Close to MarienPlatz, subway and a 20 minute walk to Oktoberfest grounds. Room was clean, but building is well worn and could definitely use some updating. Still OK spot as we were in a pinch when our previous accommodations were suddenly cancelled last minute. "

"We stayed years ago prior to renovation. Beautiful hotel, wonderful attention to detail preserving the old while totally updating. Staff was so accommodating that if asked a question they would provide not only directions but hours, etc. Best breakfast ever, eggs, sausages, various bread & rolls, sweets, cheeses, even English, and vegan offerings. Table service upscale with waiters for every whim. Room maintained spotless with complimentary bottles of water replaced everyday. Lovely bar area with roaring fire going and soft music in the background, available for both food & drinks."
