The place looks generally clean but looks rundown. The pool looks dirty and unhealthy to swim. The grime at the bottom of the pool looks like it has not been cleaned in a while.
Internet is good and the room and bathrooms are clean but musty.
The staff refused to issue me an official receipt arguing that my online booking and credit card payment serves as my receipt. However, I insisted after strongly arguing that the big BIR sign posted on the wall stating that guest must demand a receipt so that the goverment can get paid for taxes. The staff relented and asked us to wait while they issue a receipt. They were deliberately footdragging so I would give up and leave. At this point, I had to demand in a strong voice for a receipt and the staff quickly issued a receipt. This was a very bad experience for us leaving the place exasperated.
