Discover mountain elegance in this 5,100 sq. ft. home with gorgeous views of the ski mountain. Featured on HGTV’s House Hunter’s, this updated home is perfect for large groups with plenty of room for everyone! There are 6 bedrooms (two with ensuite baths) and two separate living areas. The home includes 3 fireplaces, a large deck, a separate game room, a laundry room, and an attached two-car garage.
The main level features a great room filled with warmth and comfort, featuring a stone wood-burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings. The great room leads out to a large deck for outdoor living with plumbed propane connection for the grill (how easy is that!). Take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the mountain views – they’ll take your breath away! The huge kitchen boasts Wolf and Dacor ranges with a Subzero refrigerator, a kitchen island and a breakfast table. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you should need to make your favorite family meals. This level also has a formal dining room, a master bedroom with a propane fireplace and an ensuite bath with both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. There is an additional bedroom on this level with a twin trundle bed (sleeps 2).
On the lower level you’ll find a second living area with a stone fireplace (easy-to-use propane), a large smart TV with a DVD player and sliding glass doors to the ground level where you can watch the wildlife come through the yard. This level boasts a second huge master bedroom with king bed, a couch where you can relax and a sitting area complete with a comfy reading chair. There is an ensuite bath with a beautiful claw-foot bathtub and a walk-in shower. Also on this level is the enormous bunk room that sleeps 8. There are two queen bed and two sets of twin bunkbeds. The full bath has a cowboy theme that the kids will love! There is also a laundry room with large washer and dryer.
Upstairs are two more bedrooms each with a king bed and a full bath. This beautiful home has 5 full bathrooms. In addition, the kids (and adults) will enjoy the game room complete with ping pong table. There is a twin bed in the game room, too. Fiber Optics Internet for fast internet speed. Great location and close to many hiking trails. Just minutes from all that Angel Fire offers. This home is the perfect place to gather for mountain fun, beauty, relaxation and, of course, for making memories that will last a lifetime.

Great House for Families

The layout of this house is great for a multi-family trip as there are a lot of private rooms so everyone has space. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Excellent experience

We loved the house and had a great time in Angel Fire! There was plenty of room for everyone. The wildlife was abundant and several deer came up to the porch. Thank you for the complimentary plowing of the driveway when it snowed. Great place and a great stay!

Amazing cabin for large groups

Great place to stay with a large group. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Everything was super clean. Loved all the labeled switches and drawers. Made everything easier with so much room. Highly recommend

Labor Day Get Away

We stayed for the Labor Day weekend. We had 11 adults and fit comfortably. Get place for a large group. Big enough for large groups and we were still able to have plenty of privacy.

Beautiful and roomy home

It was very well stocked. We had 5 families that were able to stay together for a weekend ski trip! We had such a great time. The kids loved the bunk room, so they could all stay together. Beautiful view of the mountain and easily accessible. We will definitely be back for our yearly ski trip! The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels for the many bathrooms and lots of games! We wish there was a hot tub to relax in after a long day of skiing, but that's the only thing we would've changed. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and many memories made in such a great home!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Lovely Three Generation Christmas Vacation

The house was spacious and beautiful, nicely decorated, clean and well stocked. There was plenty of dishes, drinkware and flatware as well as cookware and everything one needs in a kitchen. We cooked every meal but one in our week's stay, including our Christmas dinner, without issue. Well, mostly...a tip for future guests: If you are unfamiliar with cooking at high altitude, read up on it! Knowing what to do in that situation makes a huge difference in culinary outcomes lol.There was an abundance of towels, firewood, cleaning supplies and anything else we might have needed. The bathrooms all had soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner which is always a nice bonus. If you stay here, make sure you check the pantry before grocery shopping...chances are many of the spices and other ingredients you might need are already there. Another unexpected convenience was the labels. It was so nice to know what was in the many kitchen cabinets and drawers without having to search! The light switches were also labelled, which is fantastic in a house with so many of them. The only "problem" we had (I hesitate to call it a problem because it was just a minor inconveniece for us) was that the wifi was a bit underpowered for a large group of people with all our cell phones, watching multiple TV's, etc. I'm not blaming anyone for that as it could be all that is available in the area, or something else beyond anyone's control.

What a wonderful experience!

My team of colleagues and I had a wonderful time at Barb’s place! Communication throughout the booking process and during our stay was great and the home was more than we could have hoped for. We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It accommodated our extended family. Well-planned floor plan for group of vacationers who like to get together and yet have time to be alone. Absolutely Perfect

This house was amazing and perfect for our needs. We are locals who were getting married in Angel Fire in June and we needed a place where our family and friends could stay together. This house accommodated everyone comfortably. It was very clean and well appointed and the deck has a beautiful view. The kids loved the game room. There are also easy hiking trails within walking distance of the house and we enjoyed taking everyone out on them. The host was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

Amazing House!

We had a large group and we packed EVERYTHING we could possibly need. Dishes, coffee makers, etc. We didnt need ANY of it. The house is fully equipped, even dishes for a formal dinner! Every room is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Every bed is comfortable for full sized adults, even the top bunks. I cant say enough good about this place. Firewood for the firepit is provided on hand, tenant allowed use of garage, they even stock expensive TP. Wish i could leave more than 5 stars.

Very nice home

This home was perfect for our family group of 11. It accommodated all ages. I had good communication throughout. We came to ski and our only issue was we got 24" of snow in 2 days and unfortunately we did not rent a 4-wheel drive car (our fault). We were unable to get out of the house for 3 days and this changed the plans of our trip a decent amount. My only advice would be to always have a 4-wheel drive vehicle accessible since you have to wait on the city to plow the streets (ours seemed to get skipped and wasn't done right away). Overall, I would recommend this home and definitely learned a lot of things from this trip on what we would do different to ensure that we could always make it to the resort for skiing.
