Located just 5 minutes from Anchorage International Airport, this unit is fully stocked and ready for you—with a cozy living room, full kitchen, and comfy King bed waiting at the end of the day. The unit is tucked in a residential neighborhood near Lake Hood, with easy access to parks, dining, and local breweries.

The Space:
Step into your Anchorage home base at Northwood Nest, a bright and welcoming lower-level unit with everything you need for a comfortable stay. This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment is part of a well-maintained duplex located in a residential neighborhood—just minutes from the airport, Lake Hood, and major roadways.

Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully furnished living space with warm lighting, modern finishes, and a cozy layout perfect for solo travelers or couples. The open-concept kitchen includes full-size appliances, a coffee maker, cookware, and a dining nook. The bedroom features a plush King bed, blackout blinds, and plenty of storage. The bathroom is clean and modern, stocked with towels, shampoo, and other essentials.

Guests enjoy a private entrance, off-street parking, fast Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and an extra full sofa bed for additional guests. Guest Access:
Pay attention! Access is around the back of the property with your own private door access, patio, and living space inside.
When you parked in front of the house, walk past the main entrance, and turn right to the back of the house - and there you are - it will be there :)

The Neighborhood:
Located in the Northwood neighborhood of Spenard, this unit offers rare peace and privacy just minutes from the airport. Known for its mix of mid-century charm and local flavor, Spenard is a vibrant area filled with local breweries, art studios, and lakeside walks. You're only 5 minutes from the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, 10 minutes from downtown, and just blocks from Lake Hood Seaplane Base—the busiest of its kind in the world.

Getting Around:

There is not a clear walk path to the entrance - we are still working on it - but it should be an easy access - just follow the signs ;)

Smaller than realized which is fine for us. When I informed the property manager of the mold, I was told it’s natural for it to turn dark from the framing behind it. They didn’t listen and I wasn’t trying to benefit from it, but there was containers that absorb moisture which is an indicator that there is an issue. I was letting them know what I found.
