"The staff at the Beachfront Bungalows were very accommodate. The food was excellent. Customer service was on a different level…” Pura Vida” And to culminate my stay , they were offering free peticure to celebrate Mother’s Day . It was a most excellent stay."

The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly."

"We absolutely loved the property. It's quiet, the pool is nice and everything is well kept. It's walking distance to the beach and there is an access point at the end of the road. The wildlife on/around the property is amazing! This was our third trip to CR and we saw more on this property than we had in the previous locations/tours we had visited combined!! The parks are all just a short drive and there are a few cool walks really close. The property sits on a large hill and will give you a workout going back up from the beach. If you have problems walking then you will not wank to walk up. The road experienced some erosion recently so make sure you get a 4x4. Trust me when I tell you, a van is not a great idea!! We loved just sitting on the deck and relaxing looking out to the sea. It's really a great place to unwind. There are a lot of great restaurant choices very close by that are very convenient. Several grocery stores nearby too."

"This is a jungle lodge of sorts, with all the bugs and heat that come with it. No AC, and you’ll need. But notwithstanding the discomforts ( they really should invest in screens so patrons can at least open the windows at night and get that Caribbean flow), this place offers unique experiences. Many wild agoutis wander the grounds, and there’s a charming jungle path to a private beach nearby. Breakfast included."

"The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. Both restaurants on the property were great - we especially loved the cocktails and ceviche at Spice House. We stayed in a two-story family villa. There was plenty of room for 3 teenaged boys and 2 adults. The bedrooms were air-conditioned and the downstairs was cool and comfortable with just the windows and fans. The staff was courteous and the breakfast delivered to our room each day was such a treat! Highly recommend this hotel to families. It would also be comfortable for seniors since there are first floor rooms and the grounds are flat and easy to get around. We loved it."
