The room had mold and damp in the closet, they advertised a bar with pool table and restaurant, none there. On speaking to the staff to complain about the damp and ask to be moved I was told all rooms are the same . The photos used to advertise the property are nothing like the property itself. All in all it’s the worst hotel I have stayed at and Expedia should be vetting these properties more closely before advertising them.

Very helpful staff and pretty handy for transport links. Not the most modern place but more than satisfactory. Would definitely stay again.

Although the stuff were very helpful the hotel had no facilities not even a glass our cup in the room. There was not even a machine to get drinks or coffee. The air cons did not work and there was a sign not to use them. It is sad as this hotel must have been excellent 30 years ago as it has all the makings of a really nice place in the past. The rooms to sleep in for a night would be OK, for longer stays a bit doubtful, as there is no lift and if you have heavy bags, it is not great if you are on the top floor. As far as the area goes the shops were close, with a bakery just across the road but it didn't have coffee. There is a nice bakery just up the road we went to every morning that was small but really nice. Lido supermarket was 200metres up the road that was handy.

This hotel is outside amsterdam 15 min walk to the bus or train station and 10 min to amsterdam with train. Is a nice and quiet area.

Apart from weather was on off because time of year was perfect and because of price I wasn’t expecting nothing to amazing but sleep was comfy rooms was warm always parking spaces yet I didn’t drive there might consider , I will definitely come back for someone who was paralysed and couldn’t walk last year and I don’t like the fuss everything was easy access in the hotel, shops was close , train station was 15 mins walk activity to do near by, staff was very kind and helpful ,I would come back

Stayed for three nights with two friends for an event locally. Travelled later than planned, but had spoken with the hotel prior to arrival by email to arrange late check-in procedure and had no problems accessing our room. Not a lot of soundproofing either from sounds directly outside the building, or from down the corridor, but didn’t find this too big a problem. Curtains did not block a lot of light overnight, which made it a little harder to sleep. Bedding and bathroom clean on the whole, but did notice some old blood stains on the quilt under the sheet/quilt cover. Good value overall, however, for the cost.

4 nights there - without any service for the room. Asking for having the room rearranged the answer was "I have a lot to do and there are other 22 rooms waiting." (What??) No breakfeast, no info about where to get some (Houskeeper told us "maybe you go to "lidl" and by some things). Rooms are muddy, wallpaper coming from the walls. Beds were small and old. But 50 € Deposit for TV remotecontrol. Never will be booked from us again.

The single staff member we saw was supportive but facilities were inadequate. The room was in a poor state and nothing like very misleading photographs on the website. Perhaps other rooms look like that! I saw one review referring to the hotel as 'no-frills' - not true: it's more accurate to say lazy, given the apparent reluctance to maintain facilities - rusty radiator, filthy wallpaper, threadbare carpet. The heating worked well, but I can't think of anything else positive to say.
